Small class sizes. 50% deposit to book a place, balance prior to starting course. Courses starting again April 2012. All courses are fully interactive and students preferences are taken into account in the skills being taught during sessions. We also provide 1:1 tuition as requested.

• Each session consists of 1 hour teaching and the remainder is student practical time, when they practice the skills being taught.
• Each student is given one to one coaching to improve their standard of exection so they have a full understanding of the techniques as well as time to ensure they can carry them out effectively.
• Secrets for success are discussed for each technique and common mistakes highlighted, as well as how to correct them.
  

Cake Decorating Course - Beginners

5 weeks 2.5 hours per session £120

Learn basic skills to decorate a cake, skills included are cake covering, making royal icing, basic shell and border piping, and a range of simple but effective finishes including: frills, patchwork cutters, lettering with cutters, modeling with moulds and brush embriodery. Cake Making Course - Beginners

5 weeks 2.5 hours per session £120

Learn essential skills to make a celebration cake, maderia cake, chocolate cake, cup cakes, fruit cake and individual cakes. Learn all the secrets to ensure your cakes turn out perfectly each time, by a cake maker with over 30 years experience. First class 9th January 2012 10 am start. Wedding Cake Course

2 days 5 hours per day £150

We cover the range of skills required to produce a modern wedding cake. You select skills you want to practice and perfect and we assist you in implementing these on a dummy or real cake.
