Hire Charges, Terms and Conditions for Wedding Cake Stand Hire
All equipment must be collected and returned by the customer (if the cake is being provided by Barker Bakes we will deliver and set up). Deposits and hire can be paid by debit/credit card or cash and must be paid in advance. The full hire charge is taken upon booking. Deposits are due the week of the hire and are refunded upon satisfactory return of the item(s).
The rates above are for a period of 1- 6 days. Weekdays Monday (morning) to Thursday (morning) or Weekends Thursday morning to Tuesday morning. Items can be collected Thursday afternoon for weekend weddings and returned by the following Tuesday morning.
All customers can now benefit from not having to clean the acrylic stands for a £10 charge which is deducted from the stand deposit.
A charge will be made for late return (£5 per day per item, £10 per day for 7 tier stand) and forfeiture of the deposit if not returned within 2 days. Collection and return times can be varied by individual arrangement to suit the customer only if agreed in advance of hire.
Stands can be posted for customers at the prevailing postal rates. We will arrange delivery to the customer(s) address and return from same.
Damage or loss of equipment (or any part thereof) will result in forfeiture of the deposit and may lead to additional charges if this is insufficient to replace the item. Prices may be subject to change depending on supply cost changes, but these will always be notified in advance and updated to the website promptly.
